November 2nd, 2024 Pt. 1

I just got my wedding photos back and I’m so excited to share them! I’m going to break them down into parts so it’s not overwhelming!

I’m a wedding planner so I want to share EVERY little detail of my special day because it was absolutely PERFECT! With that.. We’re going to start with

The Details

The vibe of our wedding was timeless, modern - vintage with a retro country vibe to it! I’m hoping our decor hit the mark on that!

I bought our envelopes on amazon and made our invitations on Zazzle! For the envelope liner, I found a picture I liked on Canva and used my Cricuit to cut it out!

This Mirror Tray really made our detail photos stand out!

I got this beautiful Welcome Sign on Etsy!

It was the perfect touch to our ceremony!

At the end of the aisle for my ceremony I had a whiskey barrel with a horse head and florals!

My florist Megan popped off!

The Decor was so fun!

Fun fact, my husband and I built the wood tables ourselves! On the wood tables, we went with emerald green napkins.

We went for pink velvet linens with brown napkins for some round tables. On the other round tables we went with citra green (chartreuse) with brown napkins.

Linens: Windy City Linen

For the wood tables’ decor my florist had some garland and hedge apples go around the candles. It was so fun and cute! On some of the wood tables I added some tinsel garland to give it that retro party vibe!

My centerpieces are giving Genovian Pear floral arrangements!! IYKYK

Megan, my florist did such an amazing job and hit the nail on the head! She even used our family’s hedge apples!

Florist: Floral Expressions

Also at the ceremony, I made a DIY Petal Bar!

After we were pronounced husband and wife, we walked down the aisle and everyone threw the petals at us! It was so fun!

Best Guest Book EVER!!

I took Matte and mine’s engagement pictures and made them into a guest book! We keep it on our coffee table now that our wedding is over and whenever we look back at our engagement pictures, we get to see who signed our guest book!

I kept it simple and went for gold since that was our accent color!

These were the cutest favors ever and so easy! We just had to set them out!

I wanted to offset the beautiful flowers with some retro tables to make sure the vibe was cohesive and didn’t just smack you in the face.

The Night Time Details

I started making this backdrop in August.. It was fun to make, but it was a lot to take on when planning my wedding plus 30 other weddings!

There’s still SOOO many photos I have yet to share, this is just part one!
