Open House at NF

Two weekends ago, I got the pleasure of hosting an Open House at Northfork Farm! This was my second year doing this for my parent’s venue! This year was a little different for me since I have been starting my own rental company! It was extremely stressful having to set up for two businesses, but somehow I managed to get it done!

It was such a great time and I loved that I got to see new couples, potential couples, and couples that are already getting married at Northfork Farm!

I also had the honor if spicing up the Corn Crib! I had so much fun doing this! My plan didn’t go exactly how I wanted it to go, but that’s apart of being in the wedding business! You have to be flexible and ready for things to not go as planned! Luckily, even though my design for the Corn Crib wasn’t the exact way I wanted it, it still turned out STUNNING!

Don’t take my words for it though… just look at these stunning pictures from https://www.cbmillsphotography.com!

PS. Some of these items are available or will be available to rent on my website, but I did link them on my LTK if you are interested in buying them yourself!

This chandelier was a STEAL! I was nervous when I bought it, but it checked every box I had! I wanted something that didn’t need electric, but if I wanted to connect it to a light, I could. I wanted it to be hardy because I knew it would mostly be used outside. I also knew I wanted something more modern and elegant since the farm is more rustic. Most importantly, it was perfectly priced and easy to install! It will soon be a rental on my site, but if you can’t wait just click the link to buy it yourself!!

Everyone & their mom knows I love flowers. Of course I had to make floral arrangements lol. I linked the flower foam box for anyone who is interested in DIYing their own! This is for REAL flowers, NOT artificial! I also linked the twisted candles sticks, they were so fun and came in different shades of green. Of course, the candle holder is already available to rent on my rental page! I unfortunately could not link my fabric, but I got it from Hobby Lobby! I cut the fabric and made some folds to create the shape of the bow and staples the pieces together and stapled them on to the wall! - A DIY Queen lol!

The bar cart is already a rental, but I also linked it if someone wants to buy it! I also linked the card box for whoever is interested in buying it! It will be a rental soon!

All these items are linked since I will probably never rent them out. The fabric was originally going to be draped for a grand entrance into the barn, but then like I said.. things didn’t go as planned! lol The fabric made a great linen though! The plates belonged to my grandma, so I’m not even going to attempt to link those!

Underneath I have more photos from the event! They are either linked (if you click on the photo), available to rent through me currently, or will be in the future!

It truly was a great time at the Open House! I had so much fun doing what I love and getting to talk weddings with everyone! I can’t wait to see what next year holds!

Happy Planning!
